Our honest promise
Last updated: September 4, 2026
If your child doesn't love their first letter, email us for a refund of your full first membership payment: $20 monthly or $200 annual. We end the membership with no further charges. The first-letter guarantee is available once per family. No forms to fill out, no phone call, no "within 30 days" fine print. One email to zip@zipsmailboxclub.com and it's handled.
One note so it stays fair: the first-letter refund is a one-time welcome for each family. If you ever want to come back later, we would love that; you would just be joining as a regular member.
Why we can say that
Every envelope is packed by hand by the dad who founded the club. We know what goes in each one. If it misses for your child, that's on us, not you.
Stopping a monthly or annual membership
Sign in to the parent portal, choose Manage billing, and stop future renewals. There is no extra fee for stopping renewal, and nobody will try to talk you out of it. For ordinary cancellation, your child keeps receiving Zip through the end of the paid month or year; cancellation stops the next renewal and does not refund the current term. If you use the first-letter guarantee above, we refund the full first payment and end the membership instead.
If you bought a gift
A gift year is a single payment for a fixed 12-month term. It does not renew and is not refunded. A monthly gift renews each month; cancel any time before the next mailing and it stops there.
If mail goes missing
Real mail occasionally gets lost. Tell us which letter never arrived and we will reprint and resend it without a replacement fee. You do not need proof or a photo.
If something arrives wrong
Wrong name, wrong reading level, a detail about your child that Zip got wrong: tell us and we will correct it in a later letter. Your child's details are always editable in the parent portal, and Zip picks up the change automatically.
How to reach a human
Email zip@zipsmailboxclub.com. A real person reads it. You will get a real reply, not a ticket number.
