Mailbox Crew friend
Zip uses your child's name, interests, and little details so the mail feels like it was truly made for them.
Each month includes something to do, make, write, notice, solve, or share - away from screens.
Kids meet mailbox residents like Cooper the joke-cracking coupon, Penny the copper penny detective, Pablo the traveling postcard, and Frankie the lookout flag as the story grows.
Kids can send letters back to Zip and practice real-world communication through play.
Simple for grown-ups. Magical for kids.
Share their name, age, interests, address, and anything Zip should know.
Every month, a personalized envelope arrives with a story, missions, and surprises.
They read, collect, play, write back, and start racing to the mailbox again.
Something inside the mailbox is glowing. An old note holds three faded words. And the garden? It keeps whispering back...
Season 1 is a whole year of story, told letter by letter — and your child isn't just reading it. They're in it. Every letter they send back makes the glow a little brighter... and brings the Mailbox Crew one step closer to solving the mystery.
12 letters. 12 new friends. 1 mystery only your child can help solve.
Grown-ups, here's the rhythm: every month, two pieces of real mail land in your child's mailbox — a big illustrated letter from Zip, then a little mid-month surprise. A new Crew friend steps forward, the case deepens, and the hunt is on. Scroll the year below — previews kept vague on purpose. No spoilers!

Zip introduces himself — and on the very first night, the mailbox GLOWS.

Cooper tries to help with the glow — and accidentally makes the first big discovery.

Gerald builds a web — and the sparkles begin drifting into SHAPES.

Frankie holds an all-night stakeout. Something tiny is out there.

Bill's old records reveal a friend who stopped coming.

Penny officially opens the case — and your child is deputized to help.

Pablo shows his hidden picture side — a window to the garden, long ago.

Mable shares what really happened the night the little door blew shut.

Eve opens something she has kept sealed for years.

Roger maps the route home for the lost friend.

The Crew celebrates the biggest clue yet — and Sprinkles crashes the party.

Somebody finally knocks. The lost friend comes home.
One year. Twelve friends. A story your child didn't just read — they lived it.
Join any time of year — every child's story starts at Month 1, so no one ever misses a clue.

Don't take our word for it — here's what happens when Zip's envelope shows up.
Our founding families' kids are opening their first letters right now — real reactions landing here soon.
The mailbox sprint. Reading it out loud. Grabbing a marker to write back. These are real Mailbox Club kids the day Zip's envelope showed up — no actors, no mockups.
Every one of these started the same way: a grown-up signed their kid up, and a week later the mailbox did the rest.
Start for my childZip doesn't stay in the mailbox. His missions pull kids out the door — and pretty soon they're the ones asking for the walk. Here's our own Jack, turning every block into a mailbox hunt: spot it, count it, tally it, find the next one.
“This gets Jack excited to get off screens — now he asks to go for walks and mailbox missions.”— Mack, Zip's founder (and Jack's dad)
It's built in on purpose: every month's mail carries The Great Mailbox Hunt — a real find-it mission that turns a walk around the block into an adventure.
Zip doesn't write one letter for everyone. Every letter is written for your child's age and reading level — and the storytelling levels up as they grow.
Short, musical letters made to be read out loud together — big moments, big pictures, and their name in lights.
Playful letters with missions, first clues to solve, and words they're just learning to read for themselves.
Richer chapters, trickier mysteries, and letters that respect how much they can do on their own now.
And here's the part families love: when your child grows into the next band, Zip's storytelling grows with them — same friend, bigger adventures. A 3-year-old and a 7-year-old get very different letters. Your child never outgrows Zip.
Every child gets two pieces of real mail a month — a big illustrated letter from Zip plus a mid-month surprise (12 main letters + 12 extras = 24 a year). Start with one simple signup that captures the child details, then sends you to secure checkout.
One-time payment — it never auto-renews; it simply ends after letter 12.
Same letters, same magic — just month to month. Most families switch to the year after the first letter lands.
Adding another child? Each child gets their own membership — and their own mail, addressed only to them.
Secure checkout. Ages 3-12. Zip arrives monthly for every membership. Monthly plans can be canceled anytime.
If your kid doesn't love their first letter, tell us and we'll make it right. Cancel the monthly plan anytime by replying "stop" to any email.
Something has been rustling just beyond the mailbox. In Season 2, Zip follows the mystery into the garden — and finds a whole new crew of friends waiting out there. New letters. New characters to collect. Same Zip.
Members finish Season 1 with the full story — and the garden comes next.
New to letter subscriptions? Read our parent guides: what actually matters when choosing one, getting kids excited about real mail, and helping your kid write back.
This club runs on trust: you're telling us your child's name and what they love. Here's exactly how we treat that.
We collect only what Zip needs to write. First name, age, interests, mailing address. That's the list.
We never sell or share your child's data. Not to advertisers, not to “partners.” Ever.
Parents control everything. Every account is created and managed by a parent or guardian — kids never sign up, and replies to Zip go through you.
Delete it anytime. Ask and your child's profile is gone — one email is all it takes.
The fine print, in plain English: our privacy policy.
A 2-minute signup: share the child details, choose your plan, then head straight to secure checkout.
Secure checkout at the end of signup. $15/mo, cancel anytime. Or prepay the year: $150 one-time — 12 months for the price of 10; never auto-renews. Gift a full year for $150 (one-time). Each child has their own membership.

Hi, I'm Mack, the dad behind Zip's Mailbox Club!
This whole idea started at my kitchen table with my own two kids, Jack and Alexandra.
I realized how rare it had become for children to receive something truly theirs, something tangible, like a personalized letter with their own name on it. Something they could hold, open, read (and reread), and get excited about before they even saw what was inside.
Not another screen or app. Just the simple magic of finding real mail waiting for them in their very own mailbox.
I still remember how exciting that felt when I was a kid, and I wanted my children to experience that same feeling too.
So I created Zip, a magical classic postage stamp who lives inside the mailbox and absolutely LOVES writing to kids.
Zip remembers little details, sends stories and surprises, introduces new Mailbox Crew friends one month at a time, and writes letters that feel like they came from a real friend waiting just inside the mailbox.
Every envelope is hand-packaged and designed to feel personal, imaginative, and truly special, because it is.
Before anything goes out to another family, I ask myself one question:
Would I be excited to hand this to my own kids?
That's the standard. It always will be.
Thank you for letting Zip become part of your family's mailbox adventures. We're truly honored to be a small part of your child's world.
