What is Zip's Mailbox Club?
Personalized stories and activities by mail, twice a month, for ages 3–12. Zip remembers what your child writes back.
What ages is it for?
Ages 3–12, from read-aloud stories to richer mysteries for confident readers.
What does my child receive each month?
First, a personalized illustrated letter from Zip. Then, about two weeks later, a second envelope with a letter from the new Mailbox Crew friend they meet that month, a coloring page, a paper game, and a Letter to a Friend they can mail. Along the way they meet the whole Mailbox Crew and follow the year-long mystery.
When does the first letter arrive?
Complete payment, your child’s profile and mailing address at least three business days before mailing, by 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Later completion moves the first letter to the following mail day. We mail on the 1st and 15th, or the previous business day when needed. Mail usually arrives within about a week after posting; postal delivery times vary.
Does Zip really remember what my child writes?
Yes. Your child can write back with the reply included in every mailing. Something they tell Zip can show up in a later letter, so the story feels like it remembers them. Replying is always optional. See what happens when your child writes back.
Which plan should I choose?How does the monthly membership work?
Same mail with either plan: $20 monthly or $200 upfront for a year. Save 2 months with annual billing. Memberships renew until canceled.$20 per child, with two mailings each month. Renews monthly until canceled in your parent portal.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, though Zip will be a little sad. Sign in to your parent portal and choose Manage billing. Your child keeps getting letters through the end of the current billing period.
What if my child doesn't love the first letter?
If your child doesn't love their first letter, email us for a refund of your full first membership payment: $20 monthly or $200 annual. We end the membership with no further charges. The first-letter guarantee is available once per family. Read our honest promise.
What if I'm giving this as a gift?

How do you protect my child's information?
Parents manage every account. We collect only what Zip needs to create and mail the letters, never sell a child's information, and honor parent requests to access or delete it. Read the privacy policy.
