A year of mail
Zip, a cheerful classic postage stamp character

Gift a year of letters from Zip and the Mailbox Crew.

A piece of real mail every two weeks, for twelve months. A child you love gets personalized mail from Zip and the Mailbox Crew — and every time they write back, they help solve a year-long mystery. Their grown-up fills in the child's details, so all you need to do is sign them up.

For the kid who has everything

They have the toys. They have the screens.

What they don't have is a friend who lives in their mailbox, knows their favorite dinosaur, and returns to their mailbox twice a month — remembering every letter they send back. Toys get outgrown in a month and lost in the toy bin by spring. This gift shows up all year — and gets more theirs with every letter, because Zip works what they write back into the story.

It's not a subscription box of stuff. It's a family ritual: the walk to the mailbox, the envelope with their name on it, the letter read out loud at the kitchen table — twenty-four times, from one gift.

And underneath the magic, it's doing real work. This is the kind of gift that can spark a love of reading and writing they'll carry long after the toy bin empties.

Grandparents, this one's for you

You can't be at the mailbox with them every month. Your gift can be.

Every letter that lands is a moment you gave them — and here's the good part: you get a note when your gift is opened, and the letters give you something real to talk about on every call.

“Did Zip's letter come yet? What did the glow do this time?”
beats “how was school?” every single time.

What your gift delivers

What the child receives

Two pieces of real mail each month, written and packed for one child.

A child grinning as they hold open their personalized letter from Zip
A child opening a personalized letter from Zip at home.

A big illustrated letter, every month

The child's name, age, and favorite things woven through a real multi-page letter from Zip — matched to their reading level.

A mid-month play surprise

The second piece of mail brings a note from Zip, an age-matched coloring page, a paper game, and the Stamp of the Month. The Official Mailbox Hunt stays with the big monthly letter.

Zip remembers replies

The child can reply to Zip. Their drawings and answers can show up in future letters.

A year-long mystery

Season 1, “The Mailbox Mystery,” unfolds letter by letter across the whole gift year — and the child's own replies help solve it.

A new Crew friend each month

Cooper, Penny, Pablo, Frankie and the rest of the Mailbox Crew, introduced one at a time.

Hand-packed by a real dad

Every envelope is stamped, hand-packed, and checked by hand — by the dad who founded the club for his own two kids.

The gift handoff

How it works

You start the gift. Their grown-up supplies the child's private details and mailing address.

1

You start the gift

All we need from you is the grown-up's name and email. You can also choose a printed announcement.

2

They set it up

The grown-up opens the invitation, tells Zip about the child, and manages the profile from then on.

3

Zip writes

Twelve months of personalized mail begin, and you get a note when the gift is opened.

Giving it for a birthday or holiday? You choose the day the invitation goes out — right after checkout, along with your note and the printable card. Nothing lands early.

“It's adorable! So much thought into it. She got excited when she saw her name in the story!”

Works for every occasion

Birthday, holiday, or just because you're far away

Birthdays

Pick the birthday as the announcement date and the invitation waits until then. The presents get opened once; this one keeps arriving for a year.

Holidays

The wrapped card under the tree is just the beginning. When the January toy fog lifts, Zip's letters are still coming — all the way to next December.

Just because

Aunts, uncles, godparents, family friends: when you live far away, this is your monthly hug in the mailbox — with your name on the gift note.

Gift questions

Everything gift-givers ask

Do I need the child's home address?
No. After checkout, enter the grown-up's name and email. The child's parent or guardian uses a private link to supply the child's details and mailing address.
What happens at the end of the story?
Letter 12 completes The Mailbox Mystery and celebrates everything the child discovered and wrote back across the year. Then a whole new adventure begins: Season 2, The Garden Mystery, with new places to explore and new Crew to meet. Your gift covers the full first year — when it wraps, the family can choose to keep going into Season 2.
The birthday is tomorrow. Am I too late?
You can complete the gift today and send the private setup link right away, or print the announcement card after checkout.
What ages is it right for?
Ages 3–12. Zip matches each letter to the child's age and reading level, so a 3-year-old gets story time and a 10-year-old gets a richer mystery.
What does the child actually receive?
Two pieces of real mail every month for 12 months: one big illustrated, personalized letter from Zip, plus a mid-month note-and-play envelope with a note from Zip, an age-matched coloring page, a paper game, and the Stamp of the Month. They collect 12 Mailbox Crew character cards along the way and follow a year-long mystery — and when they write back, Zip remembers and works it into future letters.
Will I know the gift landed?
Yes — you get a note the moment your gift is opened and set up. After that, the best updates come from the child themselves: ask “did Zip's letter come yet?” on your next call and stand back.
One gift. A year of mail for them.

Be the one who gave them a year of mail.

Long after the party, the envelopes keep coming — with their name on the front and your love inside every one. A full year of letters, clues, and moments worth saving.
